A curated selection of high-precision veneers reclaimed from Southern Chile

In response to the growing global demand for noble, traceable, and low environmental impact materials, Legado Austral is developing a line of technical veneer made from recovered native wood from lakes and rivers in the Chilean Patagonia.

Our process radically increases the yield of each recovered log:
• 3,500 m² of veneer per unit, compared to the low volume obtained in the traditional plank format.
• Significant reduction in logistical operations, going from more than fifteen reflotations per container to just two.

This advancement is based on a sustainable manufacturing approach:
• No associated logging.
• Origin traceability is guaranteed.
• Stabilization, drying, and lamination enable a 0.8 mm sheet with excellent dimensional stability.

The result is a premium material suitable for:
• High-standard cladding.
• Design furniture.
• Interior architecture.
• Luxury boutique projects.
